By registering for Sankalan 2022 through our website or service provided at registration desk, you agree to the following terms:

  • You must not misuse any technology available to you to cause damage to Sankalan (its website, its organisation and the other people participating in the event).
  • You must follow the guidelines provided to you during the event.
  • You must agree to the rules and conditions provided for each event in which you participate.
  • You will respect the organisers and other participants at the event.
  • General guidelines for a good public behaviour are also valid here.
  • If caught violating the terms of service, you are eligible for immediate disqaulification from the event and a potential ban for future events. We may also report your violations to the organisation you work with. Strict action will be taken against strict violations.

Sankalan prohibits discrimination, harassment, and bullying against any person for any reason—for example, because of age, ancestry, color, disability or handicap, national origin, race, religion, gender, sexual or affectional orientation, gender identity, appearance, matriculation, political affiliation, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

Event Conduct and Safety

Sankalan is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment to all participants, including staff and vendors, at Sankalan-related events. Sankalan has no tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or bullying in any form at Sankalan-related events. Participants are expected to adhere to these principles and respect the rights of others.

What To Do If You Witness or are Subjected to Unacceptable Behavior:

Participants should report any behavior inconsistent with these principles to onsite event staff. Event staff will be happy to help participants contact venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event. We value your attendance.
